The course of fire was 20 rounds in 20 minutes. We had a total of 22 shooters in two classes, “young” shooters age 10-12 and “youth” shooters age 13-15. The youth shooters were given the opportunity to shoot from one of 2 positions, off the bench or prone position. While the young shooters where restricted to the bench.

In the “youth” class we had 7 shooters with Emily Watkins coming in with the high score of 170 followed by Linda Gonzalez’s 156 and Cory Nidy’s 79.

The “young” shooter class had 15 competitors with Nick Fuhrman finishing with a high score of 186, followed by Bailey Cahill’s 178 and Anna Thorne’s 177.

Trophies where given to the top 3 finishers in both classes. All of the competitor’s received a club tee shirt and free lunch. The club also provided firearms to shooters that did not bring one, as well as all of the ammo for the match.

On May 7 and 8 we started a new electrical project by running new service to the garage. From the garage we started running new service to the trap house, Forbs Fort, Restrooms, rifle house, 100 yard line, 25 yard pistol line, and the 200 yard line.

We also installed 7 new street lights throughout the range. Three lights where placed down the road on the club house side and two in the parking area on the north side of the ditch. One light was placed at the east end of the shed and the last one was placed out in front of Forbs Fort. We have completed all of the lights, trap house, bathrooms, and Forbs Fort.

The conduit is in the ground for the rest of our projects we just need to pull the wires and make up the connections.

A big thank you goes out to all involved in this project.
